Photography Fun

Andrew Owen is an artist from Toronto Canada, and he stopped by Art City this past spring to do a workshop.

Owen did something really interesting with participants called photo-cubic tableaux. The works created were photo-based radial portraits. We recently hung them outside Art City, and we think they’re pretty awesome! What are photo-based radial portraits? Well, check them out for yourself!

Owen is an extremely talented artist, specializing in public works of art. His skills are not limited to photography-he is also an expert contemporary art, art education, fine art, graphic design, fashion, art history, and film. To name a few. Oh yeah, and he also speaks English, Mandarin, and Japanese.

For a more up close look at what Owen is all about, check out his website. His work is pretty fascinating.
