The arts are a central force in
human existence. Everyone should have equal opportunities to participate in
artistic activities throughout their lifetime, starting at a young age.
Through art children learn
teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. When involved in
artistic activity, children develop their cognitive and motor skills, and learn
that being imperfect is okay.

At Art City, we’re all about artistic opportunity and expression. There are so many different ways in which to make art a part of your life, and we pride ourselves on the fact that we provide a safe environment for people of all ages to do so.
Any person can define
their identity through arts. An artistic work of any kind conveys the spirit of the person
or persons who created it.
Arts invite cross-cultural communication
and understanding. When involved in the arts we learn to be in touch with our feelings
and those of others. We gain the ability to be open to people who are different
from us. Compassion and humaneness are learned through art.
